Data controller Agentis ehf., based in Iceland, is the data controller for personal data processed when you use Vissar. Contact vissar@vissar.app for any privacy-related questions.

Information we collect We collect your name, email address, account authentication data, selected language, the URLs you choose to monitor, your agent instructions, notification settings, page snapshots and extracts from monitored sites, reports, feedback, billing status, and technical usage data such as IP address, browser, device, cookie identifiers, timestamps, and basic analytics events.

Purpose of processing Data is used to provide the monitoring service, authenticate accounts, deliver notifications when criteria are met, run AI analysis on captured content, process subscriptions and payments, measure usage, prevent abuse, and improve the service. The legal basis is performance of contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligations under Iceland's Data Protection Act No. 90/2018 and the GDPR.

Third-party processors We use subprocessors for the service: Anthropic, OpenAI and Google for AI analysis; Jina AI, Browserbase and Serper for web fetching, browser rendering and search; Kling for checkout, subscriptions and billing portal; GatewayAPI for SMS if enabled on your plan; email delivery providers for authentication and notifications; Better Auth services for auth observability and abuse protection; Vercel for hosting and analytics. These processors only handle data under our instructions and appropriate data processing agreements where required.

Data retention Account and subscription records are kept while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, security, and billing obligations. Page snapshots and reports are retained for up to 12 months unless you delete them earlier or a shorter product retention period applies. After account deletion, personal data is removed or anonymized within 30 days unless a longer retention period is legally required.

Your GDPR rights You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, request data portability and object to processing of your personal data. You may also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority (personuvernd.is). Submit requests to vissar@vissar.app.

Cookies and analytics We use necessary cookies for authentication, security, locale preference, checkout flow, and core functionality. We also use privacy-conscious analytics to understand product usage and improve reliability. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data.

Service description Vissar is an AI monitoring service that searches the internet, browses pages on the user's behalf, and notifies users when content matching their instructions appears or changes. The service is offered on a subscription basis.

Account and user responsibilities You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Acceptable use You may not use Vissar to monitor illegal content, infringe copyright, circumvent site security measures, or run volumes that would harm target servers. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Service availability We aim to maintain high availability, but no specific SLA or 100% uptime guarantee is included unless agreed separately in writing.

Intellectual property All software, design, and content related to Vissar is owned by Agentis ehf. You retain ownership of your own instructions and data.

Limitation of liability Agentis ehf. is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or lost data arising from use or inability to use the service. Total liability is limited to the amount of subscription fees paid in the last 12 months.

Termination You may cancel your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Iceland unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.

Subscription tiers Vissar offers Free ($0, 2 agents), Pro ($11/month, 10 agents), and Business for teams by agreement. See the signup page for feature details.

Billing cycle and trial Choosing Pro requires a valid payment card at checkout. No amount is charged when you sign up; the card is stored by our payment provider and the first monthly charge is made 14 days later, at the end of the trial. Paid Pro subscriptions are then billed monthly in advance. We email you before the first charge. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged at all, and you keep Pro access until the trial would have ended. The Free tier requires no payment card: 2 agents keep running, and agents over that limit are paused rather than deleted. Users who started a no-card Pro trial before this policy took effect keep that trial on its original terms until it expires.

Payment processing Payments, checkout, billing portal, customer identifiers and subscription status are handled by Kling. Vissar does not store card numbers on its own systems.

Cancellation and refunds You can cancel your subscription at any time in settings. Access continues through the end of the current billing period. Partial refunds are generally not offered unless required by law.

Tier changes Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Auto-renewal A Pro trial started with a card converts automatically into a paid monthly subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings or the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, or immediately when cancelling during a trial that is about to be charged.

Price changes We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
